Lovingly handsewn and handcrafted, these amazing belts are made by Hmong Women of the Hilltribes in Northern Thailand.

Each of the shells on the border are strung by hand and then the string of shells is handsewn to the cotton base.  Each of the Cowrie shells is also individually handsewn into place throughout the design.
